Our reinforced lid section avoids collapsing and material distortion so it can handle the product weight pressure your kit will naturally be put under with ease.

What's better than two sections? Three! Featuring a separate multi-purpose top pocket with mesh-zip section which can be used for a multitude of purposes such as as an easy access pocket for personal / miscellaneous items, used half open as a caddy bin pocket with a small bin liner (as demonstrated) and as a separate pocket to store zip-locked dirty brushes to hygienically keep away from the main kit, the options are endless!

THERE'S LAYERS OF FUN
Not only does it look great, but it’s packed with clever features working behind the scenes. The foam divider insert and separators are securely fastened with Velcro, so they won’t lift—even when the main pocket is loaded with heavy items. Plus, there’s a removable, semi-opaque, flexible makeup mat under the frame, making cleanup a breeze or offering you a handy standalone mat.

NO MORE DIGGING FOR PENCILS
It's annoying when your MUA flow is broken when you have to dig for short pencils or fight with pockets during your service, We have found the solution. Three pockets varying in depth and size to be used to your preference (top pockets are the perfect length for brushes, middle section is perfect for storing bigger items like steel makeup palette, beauty tools & brush overflow and bottom row is shorter and perfect for pencils varying in length so you don't need to dig for them during your service).

TO BACKPACK OR NOT TO BACKPACK?
At IYKO Professional, we love giving you options. The adjustable, buckled backpack straps come with top and bottom pockets to stash away when you’re not using them.
For added comfort, there’s a buckled chest strap that keeps the straps secure, with Velcro to neatly roll up any excess. Plus, for our Suitcase+ MUAs, we’ve included a suitcase strap to easily attach to your suitcase or a foldable luggage cart, turning your bag into a wheeled case (sold separately).

LET'S GO DEEPER
We’ve designed the sections to be just the right depth—plenty of space for your essentials while keeping the bag sleek and streamlined. The deep top section has 3 mesh pockets (2 Medium, 1 Large) for overflow and oversized items, with adjustable buckled straps to keep it open at your preferred level. The main section has extra room in the lid, so you can store taller foundations upright without struggling to close the bag, but it’s not so deep that you’re digging for what you need. Think of it like Goldilocks, but for pocket depth.
WHY FOAM DIVIDERS INSTEAD OF PLASTIC?
No system is perfect and is totally down to personal preference of the makeup artist. We did look into plastic dividers, but we quickly realised during transportation internationally that it didn't provide sufficient protection for powder palettes and the rattling of products as they hit against the plastic dividers caused a lot of noise when travelling which is undesirable.
The good ol' foam dividers provide ideal cushioning for products during transportation.
Now we understand there's still going to be a big group of MUA's who dislike the foam dividers, Our founder isn't too fond of them herself, so if she has chosen to keep them it's with reason.
You also are not restricted to keep the foam dividers if you do not want to, you are more than welcome to remove them and customise your kit with external caddies and organise the layout in whichever way you so desire. That's the beauty of it!
IS THE BAG HEAVY ON YOUR BACK?
The weight of your kit may not change, but the beauty of wearing your kit as a backpack is that the weight itself is evenly distributed across your back, making the weight of your kit feel lighter when travelling.
Our founder has lived the majority of her life with severe muscle and joint pain, so comfort and minimising pain or injury when travelling with your kit was the main priority (and the reason why IYKO Professional was born!) when designing the bag. She found that when travelling with other solutions on the market, the strain it put on her body and the weight of her kit was always loaded unevenly across her shoulders and back, increasing the chance of injury and fatiguing her a lot faster.
For added comfort, the back of the bag is fitted with a generous amount of padding, not too firm that it digs in, but not too soft that it defeats the point of them, situated on the shoulder blades and lower back, areas which are prone to the majority of the weight bearing in contact with your body. The straps are also designed to be slightly wider and also lightly padded so those straps aren't digging into your neck & shoulders.
To add extra layers of comfort, on the front of the straps there is also an adjustable strap buckle designed to hold those straps in place at the chest so you wont have to worry about the straps sliding off your shoulders if you are wearing slippy materials such as satin or silk.
WHAT MAKES THE IYKO HANA PRO KIT BACKPACK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BAGS?
We feel confident (and even slightly cocky!) when we say that the attention to detail and quality of this bag is unmatched.
Our founder is very meticulous when it comes to the little details, every corner of this bag has been swept with a fine tooth comb and considered, from the look and feel of the bag, to the function of every element of the bag, that's why when you read the features section of the bag, it's a lengthy read!
Not only that, but those features and designs have been considered for every step of the MUA experience, from how comfortable it feels when travelling, to the set up and pack down experience & most importantly, the experience with the bag when you are actually working.
Our founder is like you, a working MUA, so she knows exactly where the pain points are and how to best resolve them, because she experienced them too... until now!
IS THE BAG MADE FROM ANIMAL MATERIALS?
Absolutely not. Our founder is proudly a cruelty-free Makeup Artist and wouldn't dream of using real leather or animal fabrics for her products. This is something incredibly important to her.
We use a durable high quality faux leather that has been tested for longevity and resilience. Not only does the material stay looking new for longer but it also is easy to maintain and clean too.
WHY DIDN'T YOU ADD WHEELS?
We didn't put wheels on for the simple reason that it not only defeats the point of it being a backpack, but for hygiene purposes, wether you're in a hot country battling with dust or a rainy country covered in puddle dirt, the last thing you or your clients want is that dirty bottom on their vanity table, not to mention that dirt being so close to your cosmetics and brushes. We decided against it for this reason.
Should you still have a desire to wheel the bag, there is a suitcase strap as an option to use as an attachment to a suitcase or to attach a foldable luggage wheels cart to turn the bag into a wheeled case. (Not included, sold separately), you can also unclip the straps and tuck them away when not in 'backpack mode'.
HOW DEEP IS THE MAIN POCKET? CAN I STILL FIT MY TALL FOUNDATIONS STANDING UPRIGHT?
The body of the main pocket is a standard height of most makeup organisers on the market, but fear not, you can still stand your tall foundations upright thanks to the extra space in the lid, this gives you the best of both worlds.
The benefit of still closing your kit bag with ease regardless of upright foundations, but without having to wrestle to get products out from the bottom of a deep case.
This keeps the bag sleek so you are not taking up a large amount of space widthwise when wearing it on your back.
